Well, I am sad to say that we made our first (hopefully last, but
probably not) visit it the emergency room yesterday evening. Lily
was putting her baby "to bed" in a cardboard box and lost her balance
and fell. Unfortunately, when she fell she tipped forward and her
left eye landed on the edge of the box with 28 lbs to make the fall
more forceful! She scraped her eyelid and had 5 corneal abrasions (5
scratches on the cornea). Thankfully there was no severe damage and
upon returning to the doctor today, she is healing nicely! Needless
to say, it's not ALL fun and games! :-)

The poor thing! Glad to hear she is healing well - that does NOT sound fun at all!
So sorry to hear about the mishap. Like you say, it is probably the first of many. We will be praying for her to heal quickly.

Poor Lily!!! John says that is so painful when he sees it in the ER. Not fun at all for everyone involved!! God protects our kids from who knows what, like what if it cut her eye open? Sorry for the graphic, prayers for a quick recovery!
Poor thing! I'm glad she is doing better and I certainly hope there will not be many more of those in the future.
