Grandma and Grandpa stayed with lily while we had an overnight
getaway! Thanks Grandpa & Grandma for the rest. . . .!

Dear Children

We pray earnestly to the Lord for you,
That you would soon be ours.
But He has chosen you should stay
In His Almighty arms.
If He should choose to keep you there,
We will trust in His care.
And He will give us His grace
Even in this painful place.
We know He knows for us,
what is best,
And in this awesome fact we rest.
And if the Lord should,
in wisdom,
withhold you from us forever,
We praise Him for what He has chosen

Life

“What is life,”
the child asks.
“Why is life so important. What does life mean?”

“My child, look at the ants on the ground, see how fast they move?
Look at the clouds above your head.
Look at the flower as it unfolds its petals.
Do you feel the warm sun on your face?
Why does the puppy wiggle and squirm in your arms?
What happens when your feet pound on the pavement as you run to catch a ball?
Look how the birds open their mouths for food.
Did you hear the cricket chirp?
Look how the baby wraps it’s fingers around your thumb.
These things my child are the signs of life.
Life is to be born, eat, play, and sing.
But most of all-Life is to know the Life.
Life is to know God who is the giver of all life.”
