September has now begun and our "fate" with Amber weighs heavy on our hearts. We have no new news, but this is the month in which the courts decide if Amber should be placed for adoption or returned to her birth family. As many of you are aware, Amber has been in state foster care since the day we said goodbye to her after calling her "our own" for about a week. This "occurred" because Amber's birth mom desired to parent and changed her mind about placing her for adoption. Because of past events, the state stepped in to regulate the situation. We know the Lord's hand has been in this before the beginning. He knew how much we loved her when He allowed her to be removed from our arms. He knows how much we still love her and consider her our baby girl. He graciously gave us a beautiful gift, Lily Grace, in the midst of our grief! In the midst of our pain, we remember God's work of allowing us to have Lily, which would not have occurred if we had not lost Amber. The ache of loss is still there, we still love Amber, we still desire very much to have Amber back if that is what the Lord decides through the courts.
Please pray for........
...everything to proceed as scheduled
...that the Lord would be gracious to Amber and work within the birth mom's heart, the judge's heart, and our hearts for her good
...that we would not worry or trust in man for our desired outcome, but in the Lord
...that no matter what happens, we would rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS
