had a wind storm (from Ike) on Sunday that knocked out power to
250,000 people in the Kentuckiana area. They are predicting that it
will take up to 15 days to restore all power. . .we are thankful to
be some of the few to be "powered up" early! We lost power about 2pm
on Sunday untill 12pm today. . .
Lily had her first candlelight--last warm bath on Sunday. She loved
it. . .accept for the chilly washcloth wipe-downs that followed on
monday and tuesday morning :( Other than lack of coffee and hot
showers and loss of food in the fridge. . .we made it :)
