Almost on the beach...

Lily has been enjoying one of her birthday gifts, a sand/water play table.  She is continually creating something...here are some pics from Thursday.  She reminds me of some of the beach side stands where you can get ice cream & drinks :-), So step right up for a beach side treat from Lily!

Disappointing News

We received news just a few hours ago that our trial for Amber has been canceled. It was set for this friday; we were planning on leaving early tomorrow morning. There was a petition filed against us that is being reviewed either tomorrow or friday instead. If the petition is dismissed, they will reschedule the trial. If granted, we will not be able to adopt Amber. Please pray for the judge to have wisdom as he reviews the petition. So that you know, we have not done anything wrong, but I cannot relay details online.

Pray for as as we are very disappointed. We were emotionally prepared for the trial and outcome, and let down....again. We do not understand the opposition to us by state workers, but trust the Lord in everything.

Letters of Testimony

Dear Family & Friends,

Most of you know that we have entered the last phase in our pursuit of adopting Amber. Our last court appearance is a week from today at 9am. This time it will be a trial to determine where to place Amber for adoption. If you know us well, and would like to be a part of this potential adoption, please consider writing a letter for us that could be used as testimony on our behalf. It can be just a paragraph including how you know us/related to us, what are we like as parents, and what it would mean to us to have Amber in our lives.

Please address your message to "Your Honor Judge Minor." Please include your full/legal name(s) as well as your address. Then email it to me by APRIL 28TH at kjleach@gmail.com.

I know many of you wish you could be there, this is one way that you can! Thank you for praying for us and for Amber all these months. We look forward to the judge's final decision on April 30th.
