Happy Halloween!

My friend & I took our kids to trick or treat at the zoo last week.
Here are the pics. Lily is a flower & Christian is a dragon! We had
tons of fun and heard, "oh, how cute" over and over!

Lily Update

Lily is growing so fast! She is enjoying a variety of solid foods and now has her first tooth to make eating even more exciting! The neighbor tooth will "cut" through any day now.
She is also moving around very well--she looks like an inch worm with her crawl-scoot-inch-roll method of getting to where she is going. But she gets there with amazing speed for her lack of efficiency :-)
She loves music and loves to sing. Whenever her CD's are playing or we sing to her, she chimes right in with gusto! Lily is also beginning to associate words and meanings. . .ba ba ba for bottle and da da for daddy. Her and I were recently gone attending a funeral. We called Weyland to say "hello" and as soon as she heard Weyland's voice she waived her arms crazily and yelled "Da!" She did the same thing as we spotted Weyland when we came through security at the airport when he picked us up. . . .yes, I know, we have a smart little girl :-)
Can't wait for some of you to meet her over the holidays!

Fall. . .Finally!

We enjoyed a walk as a family this morning. It is officially fall
here. We have had about a week of chilly weather and the leaves are
finally turning and falling off the trees. It is wonderful!

Our dear cousin, Landen, went home to Jesus this morning. He died in
his sleep. Please pray for his parents, only sister and new wife as
well as the rest of us who will miss him so very much.
